Hello everyone, on Wednesday with Mother Goose Time the girls learned about Jump.
Bake and Cook
Hi everyone, on Thursday with  Mother Goose Time my daughter learned about Bake & Cook. The first activity she did was “Pizza  Delivery. ”  She created a pizza with the provided MGT materials.
 
The next activity she did was “Cooking up 12.” I missed placed the counting card but she counted out 12 noodles. She also observed the large and small noodles.

Later on she did “Letter Bread.”
 
Then we read the story, “How Are You Peeling” which is a really cute story about feelings.
 

Grains
Hello everyone, on Monday with Mother Goose Time, the girls learned about grains. First the girls did “Corn names.”

Then they did “Sandwich Art” with the provided MGT materials. The girls had fun creating their sandwiches.

Later on the girls did “Grain Discovery.” I put the oats and cornmeal in a bowl. Both said the cornmeal feels like sand and the oats felt hard.
 

Beetle
Hi everyone, last Thursday with Mother Goose Time the girls learned about different beetles. The first activity they did was “Beetle Design.”
 
The next activity the girls did was “Choose-a-Beetle.”
 
Later on they played “A-Z Beetles”
 
This month we start Food and Fitness.

Water
Hi everyone,  on Wednesday with Mother Goose Time we discussed water and its importance. First activity the girls did was “Safari Postcard.”
 
The next activity was “How Many in the Water?

Later on the girls did “Measuring the Water,” the girls had 5oz cups and it took 9 cups to fill the Royals, 7 cups to fill the Chiefs and 5 cups to fill the small glass.

How does a typical day with Mother Goose Time look for you?
A typical day runs smooth, I also have infants in my home daycare  so the routine can get  thrown off at times.
How often do you take breaks?
We take 4 to 5 breaks.
Which of the outdoor or free play suggestions from the planning journal do you see during these breaks?
Play with water and cups.
How has a daily routine helped your child’s behavior and/or attitude towards learning?
A daily routine give a child guidance and helps them learn a positive and responsible behavior towards learning.

Migration
Hi everyone, on Wednesday with Mother Goose Time we talked about migration. The first activity the girls did was “Elephant Match.”
 
Then the girls did “Migration Herds.” First they did the counting card with the counters. Then they walked the animals to food.

Zebra
Hello everyone, on Thursday with Mother Goose Time the girls learned about the zebra. First the girls did “Zebra Stripes Art.”
 
Then they wrote the letter Z. Â It was too cold to run outside in the zigzag pattern.

Later on the girls did “Wild Patterns.”
