Hi everyone, this month the children will be learning about the Rainforest. Some of the topics we will go over are: Rainforest Floor layer, Rainforest Understory Layer, Rainforest Canopy Layer, and Rainforest Emergent Layer. The shape this month is hexagon. The numbers they will be learning are 5 & 6. Letters this month are D,J,M. So stay tune for curriculum activities.

Hello everyone, the kids are really enjoying the nursery rhyme theme this month and they’ve learned, “Little Miss Muffet”, “Ho Cross Buns”, and “Little Boy Blue” just to name a few. But here are some pictures of activities they have done the past few weeks.

Hi everyone, on Monday with Mother Goose Time, Â the girls learned about Plants of the Mojave.
The first activity the girls did was “Desert Matching Game.”

The next activity was “Y is for Yucca.” They also looked at different types of yucca plants and wrote the letter Y.

Later on the girls played “Would you Rather.”

Hi everyone, on Monday with Mother Goose Time the girls learned about different types of fireplaces. First the girls did “Sewing a Stocking” with the provided MGT materials.

Then the Girls retold “The Mississippi Musicians”story with the story pieces.

Later on the girls collected sticks and built a fire pit out of  blocks and pretended to sit by the fire.

On Wednesday with Mother Goose Time we discussed share and how important it is to share. Then we decorated “Share Boxes” with the provided MGT materials.
Then I took the girls outside to collect small items from outside to put them in their share boxes and they shared what they found inside.
Later on the girls played “Keys To Friendship” game.
Then “Sharing Makes More,” the girls mixed yellow and blue and watched the color change and compared the different shades of green they made.
