Hello everyone, this month with Mother Goose Time we will be learning about science. So Monday we kicked it off learning about Properties of Matter and the kids were excited. Tuesday the children learned about States of Matter.

I wanted the kids to see solid, liquid and, gas and I explained to them how the ice turns into liquid and liquid into gas. So I gave them all a piece of ice so they could have hand on experience watching the ice melt into a liquid.

The next activity was Molecule Discovery.

Later on the children made Liquid Solid Blob  art project.

The last activity was Dramatic Play Digging.

Hi everyone, on Monday with Mother Goose Time  we talked about the letter D. The first activity the children did was “Dolphin Food.” I filled a tube with water and put in the provided letter tiles. Then the children scooped them up with Spoons.

The next activity “Swimming Dolphin.” The girls used their hula hoops as swimming pools and pretended to be dolphins playing with toys.

Later on the girls played “Dolphin Toys” a shape matching game.

Then colored  “D is for Dolphin. ”
